Preheating also reduces the viscosity of the silver paste (e.g., from 10,000 cP to 8,000 cP), improves the flatness of the silver layer, and minimizes curing defects caused by printing inconsistencies. Preheating should be carried out in an oxygen-free environment (such as a small nitrogen purge box) to prevent oxidation of the silver paste. The preheating time should be 10–15 minutes, with the temperature not exceeding 40°C to avoid premature solvent evaporation. If the workshop temperature is stable at 25–30°C, preheating may be omitted, but the silver paste must be printed and cured within 1 hour after opening.
